DeRocker is married to Lynette, between them they have 5 children.  He graduated from St. Croix Falls High School and then attended Pine Tech in Pine City. DeRocker was a mechanic for about 18 years for Fiedler Ford before buying his own shop in Pine City. He has been a mechanice for about 36 years. DeRocker served one term on the Village of Grantsburg Trustee, the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, and the Burnett County Deer Advisory commitee.  He also is the SAL Squadron LEader for Post 185 American Legion. 

"I am running for office so I can help people in our community our by being the voice for us, the taxpayers. To also help with the growth of our township. The growth and infrastructure of our township are important.  I would work with the taxpayers to hear their concerns and work with them to resolve issues concering the Town of Grantsburg.  People should vote for me because I am an honest, hardworking person that believes our people in our community should be heard and listened to.  Also, to have our residents informed about what is happening in our community, so that we all can work together on issues that come up in our community."
