The snow forecast for Friday evening through early Saturday morning is one to one and half inches.  The snow is expected to end around 3am.  The BC Highway department will monitor Town of Grantsburg road intersections and problem stretches of road that may need material treatment due to blowing and/or drifting snow.  The forecast also calls for up to another one and a half inch over night Saturday night and Sunday morning.  Should the forecast hold to those amounts, the County Highway Department will start plowing Grantsburg Town Roads 4 to 5 hours after the snow ends on Sunday morning.  There is a third forecast for one to three inches of snow Sunday evening into early Monday morning.  If that forecast amount holds, the Highway Department will start plowing Town of Grantsburg 4 to 5 hours after the event.  The Grantsburg Town Board and Burnett County Highway Department will continue to monitor the three day event and make adjustments accordingly.  The Burnett County Highway Department currently has three drivers out with Covid. Please drive according to the condition of the roadway. Please call 715 222 4762 if you have questions. Thank you
